This windmill was used for pumping ground water on the Powell Estate in Sayville, L.I., N.Y. It stood at the foot of Handsome and Greene Aves on the Great South Bay before Arthur O’Dell moved it in 1914 to his farm on the west side of Johnson Ave. near Veterans Highway in Bohemia, L.I., N.Y.
