The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster, Massachusetts, is an educational museum devoted to Cape Cod’s landscapes, wildlife, archaeology, and human history. Founded in 1954 as the Cape Cod Junior Museum, it began with portable school exhibits, opened a temporary home in Town Hall, and established a permanent site in Stony Brook Valley by 1960. Its exhibits connect closely to surrounding conservation land, with habitats ranging from salt marsh to woodland, alongside displays of local aquatic life, birds, and marine education tools. The museum also interprets 10,000 years of local history, including Wampanoag settlement, English arrival, and later industrial growth.
