Golden Canyon Trail
Nature
2
From the very early days of tourism in Death Valley, visitors sought to explore the geologic treasures of Golden Canyon. A road once ran up the canyon, but only remnants of asphalt remain, and the route has become Death Valley's most popular trail. Hikers can take a short stroll or a four-mile loop past Manly Beacon and down Gower Gulch, returning to the parking area at Golden Canyon, while a spur trail leads to Zabriskie Point.
