Bellevue Cemetery served as the official burial ground for Bellevue, formerly the seat of Bossier Parish. Those buried there include at least two judges, four Bossier Parish sheriffs, and twenty-one Confederate soldiers. Bellevue was first called Freedonia, then Society Hill.
