Lake Manatee State Park is a 556-acre Florida state park on the south shore of Lake Manatee, east of Bradenton on State Road 64. It preserves a diverse shoreline environment of pine flatwoods, sand pine scrub, marshes, and hardwood forests along the lake. The park serves both recreation and camping, offering canoeing, kayaking, boating, picnicking, swimming, and overnight stays in a 60-site campground. Amenities include a boat ramp, a dock, and picnic areas. Wildlife commonly seen here includes alligators, turtles, and osprey, and the park is open year-round from 8:00 a.m. until sundown.
