Audra State Park is a 355-acre park in southwestern Barbour County, West Virginia, set in hilly secondary forest along the Middle Fork River. It developed around the remains of an early 19th-century gristmill and the small community of Audra, whose presence is still visible in the river’s old spillway. The river defines the park, with deep pools, broad flat rocks, and a riverside beach that have long drawn local swimmers. Known features include Alum Cave, reached by a boardwalk beneath an overhanging sandstone ledge, along with campsites, trails, picnic areas, and a paddling route linking the Middle Fork, Tygart Valley, and Buckhannon rivers.
