Opened in 2021 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the Hmong Cultural Center Museum preserves and promotes Hmong heritage, history, and lived experience in one of the nation’s largest Hmong communities. Located in the longtime home of the Hmong Cultural Center, it is among the few museums in the United States devoted specifically to Hmong culture. Its exhibits present history, art, and daily traditions through objects, documentaries, embroidered textiles, and displays on subjects such as the Secret War, sports, and the qeej. Sharing the site with the Hmong Resource Center Library, it serves as an important community institution for cultural preservation, education, and public history.
