In Pueblo, Colorado, this industrial museum preserves the historic Minnequa Steel Works office building and dispensary and interprets the broader world shaped by Colorado Fuel and Iron. Its exhibits connect coal mining, steel production, railroads, labor, and the communities tied to those industries. Created through preservation efforts that began in 2000, the institution acquired the former administrative complex, which joined the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, and opened in 2007.
