Colonel Charles Young House was the home of Colonel Charles Young (1864-1922), the third black graduate of West Point, a Professor of Military Science at Wilberforce, the first African American Military Attache, the first African American Superintendent of National Parks, and the highest ranking black line officer from 1894-1922.
