The first Falls Meeting House was built here in 1690 on 6 acres given by Samuel Burges. The second house was built in 1728, the third and present house to the left in 1789, and the fourth and present house to the right in 1841. William Penn attended and preached here when residing at his country seat, Pennsbury, 5 miles southeast, from 1699 to 1701.
