Forks Mountain is a summit in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, in the Town of Minerva, north-northeast of the hamlet of North River near the meeting of the Hudson and Boreas rivers. Its name comes from this position at the fork of the two waterways. The mountain is part of a surrounding landscape that includes Kellogg Mountain and Venison Mountain to the east, and Pine Mountain and Harris Rift Mountain to the west.
