Pedlar Hills Glades Natural Area Preserve is a 1,177-acre protected area in Montgomery County, Virginia, above the South Fork of the Roanoke River. Owned and maintained by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, it is valued for rare plants and distinctive natural communities, including a dolomite barren. Species recorded there include tall gay-feather, also known as Liatris aspera, and Addison's leatherflower, Clematis addisonii, which is endemic to Virginia. The preserve is managed chiefly for conservation rather than recreation, and it has no public-access improvements, so visits require prior arrangements with a state-employed land steward.
