In Waco, Texas, the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum serves as the state-designated historical center for the Texas Rangers, functioning as a museum, memorial, archive, and research institution. Created through a 1964 agreement between the Texas Department of Public Safety and the City of Waco, the complex opened in 1968 and later expanded with the official state Hall of Fame in 1976. It includes the Homer Garrison Jr. Gallery, a research center, and the headquarters of Texas Rangers Company “F.” Its collections preserve Ranger history across three centuries through thousands of artifacts, extensive archives, and memorial records, while also supporting researchers and even Ranger investigations.
