Nature
Dworshak State Park is an 850-acre public recreation area on the western shore of Dworshak Reservoir north of Orofino, Idaho. Spread across the Freeman Creek, Three Meadows Group Camp, and Big Eddy Lodge and Marina units, it is organized around reservoir access and water-based recreation. Boating, fishing, swimming, and water-skiing are central activities, with camping and hiking supporting longer visits. The reservoir and surrounding hills provide habitat for deer, osprey, bald eagles, trout, bass, black crappie, and kokanee. With marina access, group camping, and shoreline recreation, the park remains an important reservoir-side destination in Idaho.
