Pike Lake State Park is a public recreation area in the wooded hills of southern Ohio, about five miles south of Bainbridge in Pike County. Built around a small lake, it brings together water, forest, cabins, and camping in a landscape developed for outdoor use. The park took shape in the 1930s through the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps, part of a broader effort that influenced parks across the United States. It officially became a state park in 1949 and continues to serve as a recreation destination with its lake, surrounding state forest, campground, and cabins.
