Barn quilts are a homegrown art form that combines aspects of traditional Americana, including barns, quilts, and road trips. Donna Sue Groves of Manchester, Ohio, is credited with beginning the barn quilt trail movement in 2001 to honor her mother's love for quilting. Today, barn quilts appear on barns, homes, and buildings throughout North America.
