The Bette M. and William R. Weaver Student Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Marina, California, beside the campus of California State University, Monterey Bay. Owned and operated by the Monterey Institute for Research in Astronomy, known as MIRA, it is closely tied to student and educational use. The observatory also serves as part of the Monterey Bay area’s local astronomy community and is one of the observatory sites connected with MIRA’s work.
