Myra Selby served as the first African-American and first female associate justice on the Indiana Supreme Court from 1995-1999. Since then, she has chaired the Commission on Race and Gender Fairness and was nominated by President Barack Obama to a position on the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
