Red Creek Wildlife Management Area is a protected tract in southern Mississippi within De Soto National Forest, southeast of Wiggins, covering about 23,000 acres in Stone, George, and Jackson counties. Formed from U.S. Forest Service land, it is characterized chiefly by longleaf and slash pine forest, with other pines and hardwoods such as oak, blackgum, sweetgum, and flowering dogwood, plus a dense understory typical of Gulf Coast pine habitat. The area is managed for regulated public use, especially hunting, fishing, and trapping by permit, with rules governing game species, nuisance wild hogs, rare black bears, camping, horses, and off-road vehicles.
