Guy Hubler built this home in 1910 for his bride, Fannie Thomas Hubler. Fannie Hubler's father, J.O. Thomas, is said to have laid out the town of Katy. P.C. Pitts and Fabiola Stockdick Pitts purchased the home from Lewis and Eva Pauli in 1949, and the Pitts lived there until their deaths. In 1973, Sam Saenz and Karen Pitts Saenz moved into the home and lived there until 1984, and they continue to own it.
