This Victorian-style building was erected in 1876 with an ashlar-cut limestone front, stepped parapet, and keystone arches. During the prosperous railroad era it housed the Round Rock Broom Company from 1887? to 1912, an important local business whose broom won a gold medal at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904. The building also housed a general store, furniture store, school, skating rink, and car repair shop. Owner Roger Burleson preserved the structure in 1969.
