T. J. Nunn, 1846-1917, represented Crittenden and Livingston counties in the 1890 convention that framed Kentucky's present constitution. He served as a judge of Kentucky's Court of Appeals from 1903 to 1914 and resigned because of ill health. His son, C. S. Nunn, was appointed to complete his father's term. C. S. also served as a state senator from 1920 to 1924. T. J. lived in this house many years, and C. S. was born here.
