Lake Harmony is a glacial lake in Kidder Township, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono region, drained by Tobyhanna Creek and lending its name to the nearby village. Although often assumed to be public because of its resort setting, it is a privately owned, non-navigable lake with access controlled through ownership of the lake bed and surrounding entry points. Split Rock Resort owns 20 percent of the lake bed, and the Lake Harmony Group owns 80 percent. The Lake Harmony Group manages access for associated communities and oversees environmental protection, recreational use, water quality, infrastructure, navigational buoys, boat slips, and projects such as a Clean Flo aeration system credited with improving ecosystem health and lake levels.
