Wright-Tucker Chapel was built by Norvin Tennial Wright to honor past generations of his family. Norvin said, "I always wanted to build a miniature Church." Construction began in June 1993 and was completed in January 1994. The chapel stood in the front yard of Norvin and Clara Haley Wright's home and dairy farm on Tucker Drive until 2003, when they donated it to Silver Creek Heritage Society. Norvin was the son of Claud and Fay Tucker Wright and the grandson of V.J. and Emma Allen Tucker.
