The World War II Memorial is dedicated to the men of the Liberty Center School District who made the supreme sacrifice in World War II, in memoriam: Franklin Rhoads, Walter Kessler, Marion Kessler, Richard Carver, John D. Patton, Robert Ferguson, Darrel Diehn, Guy Burdue, Julian Long, Melvin Ordway, Raymond Savage, Marion Harmon, Doyle Frysinger, Ray Shunk, Donald Edgar, and Harold Durham; those marked with a star were killed in action. It also names Korean Veterans Virgil Kigar and John Pesky, Jr., along with Doris Brandon and Vernon Beck.
