Noah's Ark, one of the most recognizable symbols of Kennywood, arrived in 1936, the year of the St. Patrick's Day flood. Its famous whale's mouth entrance was added in 1969. The whale disappeared during the Ark's 1996 rebuild, then returned, squishy tongue included, for a new generation in 2016. Once an amusement park staple, it is now the world's last operating Noah's Ark.
