Eureka Peak is a mountain in the Black Rock Canyon region of Joshua Tree National Park in California and the park’s fourth-highest summit, behind Quail Mountain, Queen Mountain, and Inspiration Peak. It can be reached by the unpaved Eureka Peak Road, which climbs from Upper Covington Flat and is passable to four-wheel-drive vehicles when conditions permit, or by the Eureka Peak Trail, which branches from the California Riding and Hiking Trail and approaches from the north. The peak is also a popular mountain biking destination, and its upper slopes sometimes receive winter snow.
