The F-105G Thunderchief Wild Weasel was a Vietnam veteran, a U.S. Air Force fighter bomber adapted to combat surface- and air-launched missiles. Built by the Republic Aviation Corp., it was last flown by the Georgia Air National Guard and donated by the U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Grounds in November 1995. Its speed was 1,500 miles per hour, its engine was a Pratt and Whitney J75, and its range was 1,000 miles.
