Historic Stone Bridge
Science & Tech
Anton Reindl, a stone mason who immigrated to Jerauld County with his wife from Austria, was hired to construct a stone arch bridge across the creek. Supported by its own weight, the bridge was completed in 1895. The old willow tree left of the bridge split, fell over, and died, but some of its branches are still alive and growing. In the pasture to the right, the old wagon road can still be seen.
