Rev. Charles A. Dresser lived here as rector of Antrim Parish and builder of St. Mark's Church in 1828. He left this parish in 1835 for Peoria, Illinois, and then moved to Springfield, where he married Abraham Lincoln to Mary Todd on November 4, 1842.
