Krum Hollow was a German/Dutch community settled around 1745. Its population peaked in the 1790s, and the community was dispersed by the 1840s. The church, long gone, began services in 1776. The earliest known stone is for Johan Gottfried Schumacher, dated 1787. Thirteen Revolutionary War veterans are interred there.
