Dent Veterans Memorial Park is dedicated to all past, present, and future veterans who have served or will serve their country, under the words “All Gave Some, Some Gave All.” Its structure uses symbolic brick patterns, with diagonal bricks representing the Air Force flying, upright bricks representing soldiers and sailors standing, inward bricks representing those missing in action and prisoners of war, and horizontal bricks representing those who returned in caskets. V joints commemorate victory in Europe on May 8, 1945. Its pillars bear extensive rolls of veterans from conflicts and periods including the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and later service, along with designations such as KIA, MIA, and POW, and include the Haimerl Dent Legion Post 148 charter.
