Langley, 14 miles southeast, is the site of the Grand River Dam Lake, covering 45,000 acres, with a shore line of 1100 miles, costing more than $20,000,000.00. The largest multiple type arch dam on earth, it was constructed as an electric and flood control project. Excellent fishing, boating, recreation and scenic facilities are open to the public.
