The Town of Stockholm honored the men from the town who gave their lives in service to their country in World War I and World War II. Those named from World War I were Daniel L. Crowley, Oliver Emery, and Leon LaGrow. Those named from World War II were Samuel W. Sweeney, Robert D. Green, Donald A. Travser, Donald R. Greene, Donald J. Crump, Garth L. Holmes, Wayne C. Cyrus, Warren O. Pace, Robert F. Devitt, Horace N. Scott, Jr., Marvel L. Eseltine, Fred Planty, and Benjamin B. Burton. It was also dedicated to all who served God and country in times of need in Brasher, Lawrence, Stockholm, and Hopkinton.
