THE STORY
Narrated · Plays hands-free in Travel Mode
The site was the homestead of pioneer settler Wilhelm Smith, whose stone house was built in 1759. Around 1850, his descendants replaced it with the present Greek Revival style frame structure, which incorporates fabric from the original dwelling.
