A white oak sculpture created on this site from July to August 1995 by Miloš Vlček, a professional sculptor from Brno, Czech Republic, was given to the City of New Prague in appreciation for the hospitality shown to the artist's son, Lukas, during his stay there as a Rotary Exchange student in the 1993-1994 school year. "The Voyage" represents the wooden sailing ship taken by ancestors leaving Europe and coming to the New World, and its anchor symbolizes their hopes for a new life in a new land. The upper part represents the old city of Praha (Prague) and its distinguished architecture, including typical spires and towers, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. Nickolas Church, the Charles Bridge, The Dome of Tyn, the Church Bells of Praha, and the Crown of St. Wenceslaus.
