Death Hollow, also known as Death Canyon or Little Death Hollow, is a slot canyon in Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument in central Garfield County, Utah. On the east side of the Escalante River, it runs about 8 miles as a side canyon of Horse Canyon through the sandstone maze that defines this region of southern Utah. Its narrow, winding passage has made it a popular hiking destination in a landscape well known for backcountry travel. This canyon is the smaller feature sometimes called Little Death Hollow, distinct from the longer, deeper Death Hollow farther upstream east of Escalante.
