This two-acre botanic garden in Kansas City, Missouri, is a formal memorial landscape honoring Ewing and Muriel Kauffman, who are buried there. Part of Kauffman Legacy Park, it is enclosed by limestone walls and arranged with brick paths and seating areas. Inspired by the couple’s travels and heritages, its plantings include species associated with Canada and Missouri. The garden is organized into five distinct spaces, including the Allee, Green Garden, Orangery, Parterre Garden, and Secret Garden, with pools, sculpture, seasonal displays, and sheltered plant collections. With about 7,000 plants, it serves as both a place of remembrance and a civic garden for community enjoyment.
