Oaklawn Bridge and Waiting Station, designed by architects Charles and Henry Greene, was built in 1906 as a singular example of functional public art and was one of the country's first reinforced concrete bridges. It was recognized by the Hampton Hotels Save-A-Landmark program as a site worth seeing, and it is South Pasadena Cultural Landmark Number 3.
