The Dickinson Museum Center in Dickinson, North Dakota, brings together the region’s natural and human history in a city-owned 12-acre park. Its complex includes the Badlands Dinosaur Museum, known for thousands of rock, mineral, and fossil specimens, a complete Triceratops skeleton, and feathered dinosaur models by Boban Filipovic. It also includes the Joachim Regional Museum, with local art, history, a Western art gallery, a dollhouse, and the Osborn Reading and Research Room. Prairie Outpost Park extends the site outdoors with historic and reconstructed buildings, while Pioneer Machinery Hall interprets Stark County’s agricultural and ranching past through machinery and equipment.
