This reconstructed springhouse stands in memory of the early settlers of the Loudoun Valley. It was rebuilt with stones from the original structure and is linked to history through John Jay Janney, who was raised here. He was the grandson of Mahlon Taylor and the great-grandson of Jacob Janney.
