Snowmass is a ski resort in Snowmass Village near Aspen, Colorado, and part of the Aspen/Snowmass complex owned and operated by the Aspen Skiing Company. When it opened on December 17, 1967, it became one of the ski areas connected with Aspen’s broader winter sports destination. It has continued to serve as a central skiing venue in the region.
