Horsefly Peak is a mountain in Colorado and the highest summit of the Uncompahgre Plateau, part of the Rocky Mountains. Rising to 10,353 feet, it stands about 10 miles west by north of Ridgway. Its importance lies chiefly in being the plateau’s highest point, which gives it a distinct place in the landscape of western Colorado.
