Don Pedro Island State Park occupies a 129-acre barrier island off Florida’s Gulf Coast, accessible only by boat across the Intracoastal Waterway from Placida. Between Palm Island and Little Gasparilla Island, it preserves a quiet coastal landscape of mangrove forests, dunes, and white-sand beaches.
