Stony Mountain is a summit in Iron County, Missouri, located about 3.5 miles east of Annapolis and roughly four miles northeast of Vulcan near Missouri Route 49. The mountain takes its name from the granite outcroppings that mark its surface, a direct reflection of the rocky character that sets the summit apart.
