Old Baldy Mountain is a prominent peak in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest of north-central Washington, northwest of Conconully, with reported elevations that vary slightly by source but place it in the upper 7,800-foot range. Baldy Pass and Forest Service Road 37 provide access to the surrounding high country, and the Golden Stairway trail reaches the mountain for hikers, mountain bikers, and motorcyclists. Mid-20th-century maps show a fire lookout tower on the summit by 1963, though earlier survey records did not. In recent decades, wildfire has reshaped the area, including burns from the 2006 Tripod Complex Fire and the 2021 Cub Creek 2 Fire.
