Fernwood Country Club was organized by Philip H. Enochs, Jr. and Edgar L. Enochs in 1924 on land donated to the club by the Fernwood Lumber Company, which was owned by Philip H. Enochs, Sr., Isaac C. Enochs, James L. Enochs, and their successors.
