The T38 Jet Trainer entered service in 1961 and was decommissioned in 1994. Built by Northrup corp., it measured 46 feet 4 1/2 inches long, 12 feet 10 1/2 inches high, with a wingspan of 25 feet 3 inches, and had a speed of 812 miles per hour. It was dedicated in November 1996 to all those who served in the armed forces. Leonard A. St. Hilaire was born March 7, 1947, and died January 1, 2011. He served in the Navy from Sept. 1964 to Jan. 1968 and was a Commander from June 2006 to Jan. 2011.
