Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park preserves coastal marshland tied to the Yellow River system, which begins in Alabama and empties into Pensacola Bay. Located on Garcon Point south of Milton in northwestern Florida, it lies along Blackwater Bay and spans both sides of the highway, reinforcing its identity as a natural marsh landscape rather than a built recreational park. Facilities are minimal, including a small parking area, gazebo, and public access point on Dickerson City Road. The preserve is oriented toward simple outdoor use, especially birding, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing, and it charges no entrance fee.
