Hollywood Wax Museum Myrtle Beach opened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on June 14, 2014, as the fourth wax museum operated by descendants of Spoony Singh. Part of the Broadway at the Beach area, it focuses on popular entertainment with wax replicas of American film, television, and music celebrities, alongside themed displays such as a NASCAR set and horror villains. The wider entertainment center also includes Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors, Outbreak – Dread the Undead, a prop vault, a laser maze, and a gift shop. Its most striking feature is a film-industry tribute exterior with a 35-foot Great Ape climbing the Empire State Building, echoing King Kong.
